A Labour MP has been criticised for sharing a Twitter post telling Rotherham sex abuse victims to ‘shut their mouths for the good of diversity’.
Naz Shah, who represents Bradford West, shared and liked a post tweeted out from a parody account of newspaper columnist Owen Jones.
It said: ‘Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths. For the good of diversity.’

That's my point you daft bugger.
They accuse Virgin of smearing Jezza by releasing selected CCTV frames along with CCTV with missing time stamps in order to prove he was lying about saying no seats were free.

Largely sensible as always Crassus and you will note that I did not defend Shah. She was at best fucking stupid and at worst fucking deluded, Calls for her to go are as predictable as they are Pavolvian of course but they are not necessarily misjudged in this instance.
To take slight issue with your post, I have not read too many bright people defending Shah.

Ah, yes, those ones. With you there, that commission should get it's arse in gear.
It was by no means overlooked by the media, though. IIRC the outrage over some woman who once had dinner with Leon Brittan being appointed to chair it rather died down when he was publicly exonerated. Didn't they they appoint at great public expense some woman who resigned as chairman two months later on the grounds that she had suddenly realised she was rubbish?

If a Tory MP "accidentally" liked a parody tweet insulting the victims of Jimmy Savile, a few days after their party had kicked out one of its members for speaking the truth about it, then I sense people like ray might have a slightly different take on it all.

Do you mean the loss of hundreds of files of child sex abuse reports that the media, police and Labour Party has been all over for years, to the extent of hounding and ruining the reputations of three innocent men, ultimately resulting in a humiliating apology by the police (but not Labour)?
